BUGABOO COLOR CHALLENGE

Happy day sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the Bugaboo challenge.

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Autumn Squirrel)

The challenge is a color challenge using fall colors. When I went to the Bugaboo shop to purchase a digi for this challenge, I couldn’t make up my mind, so I ended up with two of them! I will share the other card tomorrow. This squirrel looks like he is about as happy as you can get with his little stash of acorns. I colored him with Copics and made the sentiment on my computer. I hope you like it!

TI#166: DON’T BE SQUARE

Happy day sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the Tiddly Inks challenge.

(A2: Stamps:  Tiddly Inks (Be Merry and Bright Pup); Cut file: Cameo; Markers: Copic; )

The challenge this week is Don’t’ Be Square: No squares allowed. I made a shaped rectangle card on my Cameo. The image and sentiment are from Tiddly Inks, and I colored them with Copic markers. I cut a rectangle in the DP and popped the sentiment up with foam tape. I enlarged one of the birds, colored him and fussy cut. He is attached with foam tape too. I hope you like it!

DOODLE PANTRY AND FAB N FUNKY

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Fab n Funky. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

 

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Cute Critters)

 

The challenge is to use cute critters.  I used this cute skunk from the Cute Critters set. After printing him several times, I colored him with Copic markers and cut various pieces several times to give him layers and definition. I also wanted to do a shaker card just for fun. I used some old rhinestones that I bought way back when I started crafting. The yellow and green panels are dry embossed and the DP is from SN@P.  I hope you like him!

WWODTC#3 WITH MISS MERMAID

Good day everyone! The new challenge is up on the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge blog so here is my card for this month! 



(5x7: Stamps: Sherry Ann Baldy – Miss Mermaid; Markers: Copic

I got this cutie when I was picked in the Top 5 last month at My Besties Meet at the Scrappers Corner! Isn’t she adorable? I decided to do a 5x7 card that can be framed and quilled all but the face and body. The image is colored with Copic markers and the quilling is done with paper strips. Lots of tiny beads are also on this card. I hope you like my card!

QUILLED GREETING CARD

Happy Labor Day sweet friends!  I realize I have not been posting much in blog land lately, so I wanted to stop in and share with you one of my new cards I have made.

 

This is a 5x7 quilled card that can be framed and either hung on a wall or placed on a desk or table. It is in fall colors and would make a sweet Thanksgiving treat for someone. And, it is now available in my Etsy shop! Please do stop by and take a look sometime! I will be sharing some of my other quilled items soon.

DOODLE PANTRY AIMPDC#9

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! It’s time for another  Doodle Pantry challenge. The AIMPDC9 theme is Anything Goes. Here is what I came up with:

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Football Birdie)

I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it is September! With football season coming up, I decided Football Birdie would be fun to use. The image of Birdie and the sentiment are from this digital set. The Go Team banner is a die cut and the goal post is a cut file. Happy Fall everyone! I hope you had a wonderful summer!

Happy day sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the Tiddly Inks challenge.

The challenge this week is Have Heart, so I got a chance to use this cute image for the first time! I think she is adorable and love the sentiment. I added some Heidi Swapp DP and looped a heart over the top left of the image panel. I hope you like it!

The sketch for this challenge is below, and since October is not that far away, I chose the Just Wear Pink digi set in honor of Breast Awareness month. The image is colored with Copic markers. The image, sentiment and all of the papers come with the digi set. I finished off the card with some bakers twine and that was it! Hope you like it!

MM411: A CHRISTMAS CARD

Hello everyone! Today’s card is made with no stamps at all using the Mojo Monday sketch for this week.

(A2: Stamps: none; DP: The Paper Studio (Merry Christmas)

I decided to get another Christmas card made with the sketch this week. I love this paper pack and decided the DP was perfect to convey the sentiment. The flowers are some paper flowers that I had in my stash. I don’t remember where they came from. Anyway, a bit of layering and stitching and this card was done! Thanks for stopping by!

VLVAugWk2: ANOTHER BIRTHDAY

Hello again friends. Popping in with my Viva la Verve card for this week. This is the one for the VLV  August Week 2 sketch.

(A2; Stamps: Great Impressions (Hound Dog and Another Birthday); DP: SN@P; Dies: Verve (Rounded Scallop Frame Die), Spellbinders and Lil Inkers

I wanted a humorous birthday card that could be for a male or female. I kept the colors more towards masculine but still had some polka dots and chevron patterns. I colored the hound dog with Copic markers and added some bling from Verve. I hope you like it!

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at 613 Ave Create. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Quirky Frog)

The theme is Anything Goes and Optional to use black/white and a favorite color. I intended to do black/white and green, but the yellow just NEEDED to be a part of this card! I just love this cute sentiment with these frogs! I colored the image with Copic markers and used dies for the flower and cattails in silhouette form. The bling is from Verve.
