MM335: MISS YOU

Hi again. Last card for today and this one is for the Mojo Monday challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Salutations); Cut files: Silhouette; Die: Spellbinders; Cardstock: Neenah Solar White; DSP: MME (Follow Your Heart); Punch: EK; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

For my last challenge today, I have a sketch challenge from Mojo Monday. I used some DSP that has been hanging around a while from MME and mounted on blue. The butterfly is from a shaving cream background I made last week. I think it is a perfect match! The flower is from a Silhouette cut file.

Thanks for stopping by. Here is a link to the challenge in case you want to share in the fun.

MM333: HELLO

Hello again! This is my third post for today so please scroll down to see the others. I’m sorry, but I am woefully behind on getting cards posted this week!

(A2; Stamps: Verve (Take Note); DSP: 7 Gypsies (Conservatory); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

I love the sketch at Mojo Monday this week and love how this card came out. I used 7 Gypsies Conservatory designer paper and a simple Verve sentiment. A bit of stitching and ribbon and it was done!

I hope you enjoyed!

MM331: BIRTHDAY WISHES FOR YOU

Hello my dears! I have a few cards to share today, so stay tuned for more later. This one is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

(A2: Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Golfing Fish COLOR plus, Golf Ball FREEBIE, Celebrations Sentiments) All papers, images and sentiments are included in these sets)

I wanted to make a birthday card for a golfer, so I decided to go with this adorable image from Doodle Pantry. Although it comes pre-colored, I used the outline and colored this with my Copics. I merged the birthday sentiment from Celebrations Sentiments with the golf ball from Golf Ball Freebie and then printed golf balls in different sizes. I pretty much then followed the sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

MM330: MY VALENTINE

Hello my dear friends! Happy Friday!!! I hope you had a good week and have lots of fun this weekend. To start it off, I have a Valentine to share:

(A2: Stamps; Doodle Pantry (Rose Bloom); Die: Silhouette, Spellbinders (Circle); DP: K&Co (Smitten))

I just love the change up at Mojo Monday. It was fun making a tall and skinny card, which allowed my circle to go over the edge and still fit in an A2 envelope. I used my Silhouette to cut the circle with circles and allowed the extra circles to be the last embellishment in the sketch. The My Valentine sentiment is a digital sentiment from Doodle Pantry. I cut it with a Spellbinders and inked it before removing from the die.

Thanks for stopping by. Here is a link to the  challenges in case you want to share in the fun.

PS;MM328; MISSING YOU

Hello again! Thanks for stopping by. If you missed the first post, please scroll down to see it. This one is for the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge and the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Salutations and Reflections); Paper: MME (Bramble Rose); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Die: Spellbinders)

When I saw the colors in the PS photo I instantly thought of the Bramble Rose paper. I think it is the only paper I have with that combination, and now that I have put it together, I love it. I used the Reflections leaves and Salutations sentiment stamped on paper from the same paper pack and cut with a Spellbinders. And, just to highlight the sentiment panel, I cut a piece of black paper to just fit under the little cut-outs around the square.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

MM327: I <3 You

Hello sweet friend! I hope you are surviving the cold weather and are not snowed in. I pray you have power and a warm place to craft!  And, I hope you are as fortunate as I am and have some craft time available!

(Size: A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Flap Happy); Stampendous (Carte Postale); Inspired by Stamping (Ahoy, Matey), Inkadinkado (Fern leaf, wild flower and bumble bee); Paper: Collage Press (London Market); Border Punch: Martha Stewart)

I was playing around with collage stamping and decided I like this little collage and then I saw the Mojo Monday sketch and thought I could put the two together. I have on attempted this stamping technique a couple of times, but I really love the effect. The little bumble bee was fussy cut three times and added with pop dots.

MM326: THE THING ABOUT COURAGE…..

HAPPY FRIDAY! Wow I hope you have a nice WARM spot for crafting this afternoon, because it is just too darn cold to be outside! I finally got my Mojo Monday card finished, so here it is (I chose square as usual).

(Size: 4.25x4.25”; Stamps: My Favorite Things (Vertical Sentiments); Paper: 7 Gypsies (Conservatory);Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

I bought this stamp set a few months back, and finally had a chance to make my second card using the set. I just love the sayings and hope they bring encouragement to whoever receives the card.  The DSP’s are from a 7 Gypsies 6x6 set I have had for a while. I hope you likey!

MM322: YOU MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE

Last post for today!

(A2; Stamps: My Favorite Things (Vertical Sentiments); Paper: Cosmo Cricket (Evangeline); Lace: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

I bought this stamp set a few months back, but have been so busy on Christmas cards, I have not had a chance to use it. When I saw the MM sketch, I knew I had to break out this set! I thought the Cosmo Cricket DSPs would make it romantic and feminine especially with the lace. What do you think?

A SPECIAL VALENTINE WISH

** This is my second post so please scroll down if you wish to see the first one! **

(A2; Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Love Star); Paper: Elan Metallics Candied Violet (shimmery border paper), Cutmates Candied Violet (base panel) – all DSP is from the Doodle Pantry set; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

This is another valentine for OWH. The Mojo Monday sketch came in handy for this one Winking smile. I printed the star twice so I could fussy cut the center heart and pop it up to all a little dimension. The image, designer papers and sentiment are all from the DP set. OK, off to make more cards! LATER!!

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

This is my second post today, so please scroll down to see the first one.

Hello again! This second card is for the Mojo Monday contest, and just like the first one, it has been lying here waiting patiently to be blogged.

(A2; Stamps: Paper Smooches (Many Thanks), Inspired by Stamping (Background Basics Lines), Penny Black (Love Flourish); Die: Paper Smooches (Scalloped Tag), Sizzlits (Heart); Paper: Elan Metallics (Candied Violet), CutMates (Olive Oil, Concord Grapes, Candied Violets); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

Of course, this is the MM sketch, which I kept a little more simple. To create the design on the strip of paper I used Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender) and Background Basics Lines from IBS. I heat embossed the edges of the tag and used Love Flourish by PB to add the swirls on the tag and the hearts. That gorgeous ribbon came in my monthly subscription from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
