PS AGWk5: HUGS

Hello again! I know, this is my third post for today, but I need to get this card in for the Paper Smooches Anything Goes challenge (Wk5).

I love Zoo Crew and wanted to play with these cuties today. I used Gorgeous Grunge and Zoo Crew (fern leaves) to create the background. I cut the circles on my Cameo and used the Zoo Crew dies to cut the animals. I hope you like!

OWH218; PS AG: MISSING YOU

Hello again! So glad you are back for my second post. This card was made using the Operation Write Home sketch and I would also like to enter it into the Paper Smooches Anything Goes challenge. 

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Reflections and Salutations), Designs by Ryn (Raindrops Set)

Most of the paper on this card is from 7 Gypsies Conservatory. I wanted to stamp the focal panel so I started with the Raindrops set and created a very soft background using DI. After inking the stamps, I stamped off once and when I was satisfied with the effect, I spritzed the raindrops with water. I was going for a Bokeh effect. After the panel was dry, I stamped the florals using more DI and Paper Smooches Reflections stamps. The sentiment is from Salutations, I just masked and stamped to make it fit the tag. A few enamel dots complete this card.

CS184: LOVE

I know, this is  my third card today, but I have been busy and have lots to share! This one is for Case Study.

(A2: Stamps: Verve (One Person), Inspired by Stamping (Background Basics Lines), Designs by Ryn (Raindrop Set); Die: Paper Smooches)

I did love the soft pink in the photo, but I had just finished a pink card and decided to go brighter. The main panel is one layer that I masked and stamped. I'm not sure if you can see the embossed raindrops so I provided a close-up. Hopefully you can see them there. I just wanted to give the feeling of a light spring rain on fresh flowers. I then stamped the black lines using IBS Background Basics. The flowers are colored with Copics.

For the sentiment, I cut strips of coordinating paper and attached them to a plain piece of paper. I then used the PS die and ran it through the cutting machine. I then cut 4 more of the sentiment and stacked them to give depth to the card. I hope you like!

TCC6: HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U

Hi sweeties!Just wanted to pop in quickly to share my card for The Card Concept. If you missed my first post today, please scroll down to see it.

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Sentiment Sampler), StampinUp (Gorgeous Grunge); Die: Paper Smooches (Numbers, Alphawhimsy); Cut files: Silhouette) 

This is a photo inspiration challenge with the added theme of birthday cards. I loved the pink roses so I chose pink as my color, but I noticed there were no candles on the cake so I decided to make some!

To make this card, I stamped the grunge design and then used my Silhouette to cut the candles and round frame. I die cut the number 2 and the “U”. Before attaching, I attached  my sentiment stamp to my acrylic block and curved it to match the curve of the circle. I stamped the sentiment then attached the remaining pieces.

Hi sweeties! Happy Friday to you! I have a quick post to share my card for Freshly Made Sketches and The Card Concept.

(A2: Cut files: Paper Smooches (Salutations), Designs by Ryn (Water Droplets), HA/Sizzix (Butterfly stamp/die set); Die: Spellbinders (leaves))

I combined the sketch at FMS with the color challenge at TCC and used a collage style to create this card. I heat embossed the butterfly with moss green EP and finished off the card with a few rhinestones.

52CCTD; CCC15: FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS

Hi sweeties! I hope your week started off with a lot of crafty time. Today, I have another Christmas card to share. This is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and Christmas Card Challenges #15:

(A2: Cut files: Paper Smooches (Bitty Bungalows) EK (inside sentiment), Copics; Die: Paper Smooches (border))

The 52CCTD challenge is a color challenge so I chose blue, dark teal, dark green and red. The CC15 challenge is to make a CAS Christmas card. Hopefully this fits the bill.

I cut the hills and the bottom border of the card front using the PS border die. After coloring the house, I fussy cut it and attached next to the front of card sentiment. I stamped the inside with the Merry Christmas sentiment so it can be seen when the card is open or closed.

FMS126: HELLO

Hello dear blogging friends. It is COLD and rainy here today so I have taken advantage of the bad weather and have been happily crafting. This is my card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Salutations), Hero Arts (butterfly); Die: Hero Arts)

Pretty simple card using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch. The sketch made me think of bokeh. To make mine, I used daubers and various Memento inks. I then stamped and die cut the butterfly from the background paper. Then it was just putting the pieces into place. I might have to play with bokeh some more!

FCC4: THINKING OF YOU

Hello sweeties! Happy Thursday to you, and I’m hoping your weather has turned a nice as ours! Here is my card for the Fusion Card Challenge.

I am still working on Care Packages to send to Afghanistan and wanted to include some blank cards for my friends to use. This is one that I am including. I used the inspiration photo and the sketch at Fusion and decided to make the butterflies look soft by using vellum as the top layer of the punch.

Hello sweet friends. It is so nice to have pretty weather again! I hope your weather is improving too! Today I have a CAS card that I made for the Less is More challenge, and since Paper Smooches is Anything Goes this week, I’ll be entering this card there too.

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Flap Happy), Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Timepiece Collage)

The LIM theme is masculine, so I went with the Timepiece Collage tapestry stamp set from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. I used copper EP for the Paper Smooches sentiment and brown inks for the collage. I did use some dark green to stamp a few leaves at the sentiment. Do you think it is masculine? Let me know what you think!

I used the sketch from CAS(e) This Sketch and combined the theme from Addicted to CAS and the Anything Goes theme at Paper Smooches. Very CAS and not much else to say. I hope you like it!

Hello sweet friends. Today, I am sharing a card I made for the Paper Smooches challenge.

(A2: Stamps: Paper Smooches (Flap Happy and Sweet Hearts); DP MME (In Bloom))

I was inspired by the gold and pink and the heart shape in the inspiration photo. For the hearts, I heat embossed in gold on vellum and then colored on the back with Copics. Once they were dry, I fussy cut and stitched onto the DP. I directly stamped the butterfly and sentiment on the DP. I colored the butterfly with Copics and gold pen. The panel was then adhered to a pink background and more stitching was added, along with 3 crystal rhinestones.
