Hello dear friends. I have another quick post for you today. This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for September week 2:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (Happy Place); Copics; Die: Spellbinders)
I used the flower image and stamped off on the white panel to create the background. Then I stamped, die cut and colored one flower and mounted with foam tape. For the sentiment panel, I centered the sentiment and used the sprig on each side, again coloring with Copics.

Hello dear friends. I have another quick post for you today. This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for September week 1:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (Moments Remembered); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Copics)
I have always loved this saying by Gandhi and was thrilled when I saw it in this stamp set. The sketch this week also has a color challenge, so I used Pink, Kraft and Green to meet the challenge.

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Making a Statement); DP: MME (Memorable)Dies: Verve (Rounded Scalloped Frame and Loopy Blooms and Pennants)

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are having a great week. This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for August Week 3:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (Hope Blooms and Take Note); DP: Farm House (Fair Skies); Dies: Verve (Rounded Scalloped Frame), Spellbinders (Scalloped Circles); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)
I was inspired by the chalkboard and the little flowers in the cupcakes. To make the chalkboard effect, I used white ink and the Take Note stamps and stamped repeatedly on the blue paper. I cut the circles and then stamped the flower design in them.

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are having a great weekend. Mine has been relaxing and crafty! This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for August Week 2:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (Happy Place and Happy Doodles die set); DP: DCWV (Fashion District)
This stamp and die set is part of my Viva la Verve prize! Thank you again Verve for choosing me as the Viva la Diva in July!
I have to say I LOVE this stamp set! It is so versatile and includes so many useful stamps. I used the flower stamp to create the panel behind the sentiment panel. Then I used one of the sentiments and another flower image. I die cut, stamped and colored the butterfly and popped it up with foam tape.

Hello crafty friends. I hope your weekend is going well! I wanted to pop in to share my birthday card for Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps. Happy Birthday Julee! This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for July week 4:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Take Note); MME: (Follow Your Heart); Dies: Spellbinders; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)
This car did pretty self explanatory since I pretty much just followed the sketch. I used th scalloped circle die and the regular circle die from Spellbinders and added stitching. I added a little Copic coloring in the word bELIEV and used two different inks on the rest of the sentiment to match the colors in the card. A little polka dot ribbon tied in a knot finish off the card. Julee, I hope your birthday rocked!

Hello crafty friends. Welcome to a new week and a rainy day here in NC. I can’t complain though, it has been so hot and dry the cooler air and rain for the plants has been a welcomed relief. Today, I have an AnyHero card that I made using the Viva la Verve sketch for July week 3 which is a sketch AND inspiration challenge:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (American Hero); DSP: SN@P (Short Stories); EF: Cuttlebug; Die: Taylored Expressions; Cut files: Silhouette Studio)
I am trying to get this box of cards shipped to Operation Write Home this week, so I want to make sure I have plenty of AnyHero cards for it! I dry embossed the base white panel. The stars were cut on my Cameo and the little dotted, scalloped border is from Taylored Expressions.

Hello again! This is my second post for today and is for the Viva la Verve July week 2 sketch:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (You and I); DSP: MME (Lost and Found Sunshine); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Die: Spellbinders; Stencil: Color Box (SwirlDot)
Wow! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the Verve sketches! I have a few scraps of MME L&F Sunshine, so I used them on this card. I have the Verve die set that coordinates with the stamp set and used the die for the “I”. The dots at the top, on the light blue panel are from the stencil and embossing paste. I hope you enjoyed my card.

Hello crafty friends. It has been such a long time since I played in the Viva la Verve challenges, I decided I needed to get back to it! So today, I have two posts and they are both for the VLV July challenge (so I can catch up!).
This is for the July week 1 sketch:
(A2: Stamps: Verve (Up, Up and Away and Take Note); DSP: Heidi Swapp (Favorite Things); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Die: Memory Box (Clouds))
This is a beautiful sketch that can be taken several ways. I chose the lovely Heidi Swapp paper pad for tis card…..well, because I just can’t get enough of it, plus this one had a color challenge involved and these colors worked. I stamped the hot-air balloon onto the panel and then paper pieced the top, adding enamel hearts on the dark spots. I die cut clouds and added over the balloon and stamped part of the sentiment on the largest cloud. I added the rest of the sentiment on the side tag. I hope you enjoyed this card!

Hi again! This is my second post so please scroll down if you want to see the first one. This card uses the Viva la Verve sketch for this week.
I just love this VLVApr2013 sketch! All of the papers came out of my scrap bin. The floral strip that goes down the center of the pink strip is fabric tape from Inspired by Stamping. Verve stamps and die, ribbon from RRR and some Stickles around the heart complete this layered card.
