HEARTFELT THANKS

Hi sweet friends! Welcome back for another challenge at Inkspirational. I am so excited to see so many of you joining in with our challenges!

This week we have a PHOTO INSPIRATION challenge for you. I know you will want to see all the gorgeous creations from our DT so be sure to check out their cards at Inspirational be inspired! Now here is my card.

Of course I was inspired by the flowers. I know no surprise there. I shaped the edges of the card with the largest SB Romantic Rectangles. The gorgeous Hydrangea, sentiment and daisy are from Inspired by Stamping. I colored the Hydrangea with Copics and die cut with SB. The yellow layer is embossed with a Cuttlebug EF and wrapped with ribbon and lace from RRR.

Hi lovely friends! I’m so glad you stopped by today.  It feels good to be playing in the Verve sketch challenges again. I wasn’t able to get to those while I was sick.

The sketch this week is one I really loved. It can be CAS or you can go wild! I just wanted to try a CAS version to see what I could do. But then, I started adding embellies…..LOL!

I still like it. I die cut the Memory Box flowers twice; once with the light color, and once with the darker color. They needed some definition since the papers were so close in color. The pennant die is from Verve, as is the sentiment.

JUST BECAUSE

Hello sweet friends. I hope your Monday was pleasant and uneventful. I am visiting with my daughter, so no crafting for me; but, I did make some cards to share while I was gone. This is one of them.

The large flowers and bold colors in the Case Study inspiration piece inspired me to make this card using CAS-ual Fridays’ Loving Thoughts stamp set. The inks are DI and the centers of the flowers are embossed with bronze EP.  Light green cardstock is directly under the focal panel and they are popped up with foam tape. The bottom layer is a copper paper that has a bit of shimmer.
