SENDING YOU LOVE

Hi friends. I could not sleep so I am taking a few minutes to pop in and share a card I made last weekend and just have not had time, nor energy to post. Dad’s ashes are supposed to arrive at my house today, so I don’t really know how I feel this morning. Maybe that is why I am up early.

I am entering this card in the Less is More color challenge and chose yellow-green and violet-red off of their color wheel. The die is from Memory Box.

THANKS AND A DAHLIA FOLD FLOWER

Hello sweet friends! It is the first Tuesday in May so you know what that means: TECHNIQUE TIME TUESDAY!  This month, Mynnette has gone all out and made a video of the technique!

This month’s technique is the Dahlia Fold Flower and it is beautiful! Here is my DT card:

The Dahlia may look complicated, but it is rather simple. It is made from a series of 8 circles, plus one for the base. Mynnette’s video makes it so easy to see how to make this flower. Hi sweet friends. I hope your weekend was wonderful and your weather was better than ours! This week CAS-ual Fridays is celebrating 100 challenges and their second birthday with a Tic Tac Toe challenge. Isn’t that exciting? Here is the card I made for the challenge:

I chose the middle line which is Square Card, Bling, Text and used the CAS-ual Fridays Beanstalk stamp set. I used Distress Inks and linen paper.
