HELLO SUNSHINE

Hi dear friends! I am SO excited today!!!! I’ll tell  you all about it as soon as I can, but for now, just know I am excited!!!! So, a quick post for now to share my shaped, OLC for Less is More.

(A2; Paper: DCWV (The Luxury Stack); Die:  Silhouette (dress); Stamp: Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Floral Filigree and Hello Sunshine)
Chrissie and Jen over at Less is More really made me think about this card…..a lot! The challenge is a One Layer Card that is not a rectangle or square. OK, so I could do a circle, but it just seemed so boring. So, I found this darling little dress cut file and thought it would be adorable for some deployed soldier to send home to a daughter. What do you think?
The paper has a shiny metallic finish so I embossed the little flower and sentiment. And of course this dress just HAD to have a little bow! Hope you enjoyed seeing it!
Thanks for stopping by!

YOU ARE ONE OF MY NICEST THOUGHTS

Hi sweet friends! I hope your weekend is the most wonderful ever! I have a quick post for you today and maybe you can answer a question for me. First the card:

(A2; Paper: MME (Meadow Lark); Die:  Silhouette (flower frame); Stamp: Verve (Nicest Thoughts) Embossing Folder: Darice; Border Punch: Martha Stewart)

OK, I need to know if this can be considered CAS? I hope I didn’t get too carried away when I was designing this one, but I did like the final product! The gals at CAS-ual Fridays are looking for polka dots this week and for some reason, the black, white and bright green just had to go on this card LOL. Hope you enjoyed seeing it!

Thanks for stopping by!

I LOVE YOU BECAUSE…

Happy Saturday crafty friends! Guess what? It is still raining!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I were trying to remember the last time we saw the sun, and we couldn’t come up with an answer. This is the wettest/coolest summer I can remember. I am not really complaining because I am loving the 75-89 degree temps! And the rain is a good excuse to stay in my craft room…. speaking of which, I guess I need to share my card:

(A2; Paper: scraps Die:  Silhouette (flower); Stamp: Verve (Take Note) Embossing Folder: The Paper Studio; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

I just got a bunch of new Verve sentiments and could not wait to start using them! This one is a combination from the set “Take Note”. I think this will be a fabulous card for Operation Write Home!

When I first saw this sketch, I was not sure what to do with it. What do you do when that happens to you? I just start playing with paper until something that I like comes together. I know, not very artsy is it? Oh well, that is how my pea brain works! Hope you like the card!

Thanks for stopping by!
