FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

Today is the fourth Wednesday of July so that means it is time for   Inkspirational’s Sketch Challenge #30!

I know you will want to see all the gorgeous creations from our DT so be sure to check out their cards at Inspirational to be inspired! Now here is my DT card.

(A2; Digital image: A Day for Daisies (Fairy Mushroom One); DP: Wild Rose Studio (Annabelle’s Garden) Banner border: Verve; Sentiment: Waltzingmouse Stamps; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

If you follow us you know our sponsor this month is A Day for Daisies and I just love this whimsical mushroom image from them! Not only is it adorable, but it is FREE! Yep, it is a freebie; just click the link in the description under the photo to go straight to it.  I colored the image with Copics and stamped the sentiment at the bottom.

I saw a necklace on Pinterest that was made with ribbon and jump rings, so I instantly thought I could use that on a card. Voila! The white ribbon was woven through the jump rings and added to this card. I think I might use this again! (Here is a link to it on Pinterest)

Thanks for stopping by! I can’t wait to see what you do with the SKETCH!

THANKFUL FOR YOU

What a fun week we are having with Grant and Sheila. They are off visiting friends so I am grabbing some crafting time.

Here is my Mojo Monday card for this week:

(A2; Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Quirky Scarecrow) set includes image, orange DSP and sentiment, Country Flavors Digi Paper Pack green DSP; Ribbons: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Misc: EP: Sparkle N Sprinkle Moss, Inspired by Stamping green embossed flower, Recollections brown flower))

This was a super quick card to make since I used the Mojo Monday sketch. I combined two images from the digital stamp set, added the sentiment and used the green digital paper for the background. I then printed, cut and stitched. I tied a bow around the orange panel and popped that panel up with foam tape. Last, I embossed the white flower with Moss EP and added the bought flower on top. Attached them to the corner and all done!

Thanks for stopping by!

COOL DUDE

Happy Friday! This is my second card today, so please scroll down to see the first one!

(A2; Stamps: CAS-ual Fridays (Dude sentiment from RAD set), Inkadinkado (Cool sentiment from serif lowercase alphabet); Dies: Silhouette (penguins and card shape); Misc: Vellum (to make ice blocks), Liquid Pearls (for “snow”), UTEE)

This week, the Cue Card word at CAS-ology is Cool. I wanted to make ice blocks using vellum and UTEE so I thought the little penguins would be cute on this card. I cut the vellum and stamped the letters using Stazon.  I then coated each piece 2-3 times with UTEE, just depending on how they looked. I added Liquid Pearls to make it look like it is snowing and “built” up an accumulation on the sentiment blocks and a little on the penguins heads. Popped up the largest penguin with foam tape and was done.
