YOU MAKE ME SMILE WITH MY HEART

Today is the fifth Wednesday of July so that means it is time for   Inkspirational’s ANYTHING GOES Challenge #31!

Oh boy! Anything goes is always fun, right? I decided to go whimsical again with another A Day for Daisies image that I colored with Copics.  I threaded the ribbon through the heart border and used a Sizzix to cut out the three little hearts. I mounted them with different foam tapes to give different heights.

MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH GLITTER

Hi sweet friends. What  a busy week for me! While Grant was home on leave, I tried to keep my schedule open for whatever he wanted to do, so for two weeks, I put off everything! Well this week is catch up time and I am in and out of the house every day. I have a quick post of a CAS card for you.

This card was fun to make because I never use glitter. I did see on Operation Write Home that I could use a little Stickles, so to meet the challenge at Addicted to CAS, I used a little bit of gold stickles on the M, C and the reindeer nose. Not much to say about this other than the top red/white panel is popped up to add interest.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi dear crafty friends. I have a second post for you today! This one is for CAS(E) This Sketch.

(A2; Stamps: Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Winter Night Sky), Heartfelt Creations (Image), magazine freebie (sentiment); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Misc: Ranger Liquid Pearls, Stickles, EP)

For this card, I stamped the trees and made a circle mask to cover them. I used Distress Inks to create the night sky and stamped stars using my tapestry stamps. I added Liquid Pearls and Stickles on the trees to make “ornaments” and gold Stickles to make the “stars” on top of the trees. I used red EP to emboss the sentiment, made a tag and placed over a red/white polka dot strip of ribbon. I attached the image panel to green metallic paper and popped up on white card stock.
