NOW FOR THE DOOR!

Hello sweeties! I promise this is the last post of my Christmas decorations! I wanted to change up my front door decorations so I started by making a new wreath.

I love asymmetrical wreaths so I decided to make one for my door. I used Christmas florist picks, a grapevine wreath, a cute reindeer ornament and lots of hot glue!

I have been wanting urn trees to place on both sides of the door and found a deal this year. I had lots of spare strings of lights, so I added lights to the already lit trees. I tried to take a picture at night, but that just didn’t work!

Well, that is it for my house. I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

OH CHRISTMAS TREE…..

Hi friends! This is the third post in my Christmas at My House series. Today, I am sharing our Christmas tree with you. It doesn’t have all the gifts under it, but I’m still sharing!

The Santa tree topper has been with us almost 30 years. He was one of the first Christmas items we bought together.

I only had gold and red balls last year, but my tree is evolving again and becoming a bit more eclectic! I picked up some new ornaments when I was visiting my daughter this year.

OK, now the gifts are wrapped. I used Kraft paper, white ink and the eraser end of a pencil to create the wrap design. I used Christmas florist picks instead of bows and attached them with red/white baker’s twine. I used some hot glue to make sure they stayed in place and used handmade tags.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed seeing my tree!

CHRISTMAS AT MY HOUSE….

Hello my dear blogging friends! I am always so happy to know that you have stopped by, Hopefully, you will enjoy the Christmas decorations I am sharing today!

My mantel is different every year. This year, I went with whimsical and icy.

The stocking holders are tradition for us. They are all over 20 years old, so I cannot imagine a Christmas without them! My Mom crocheted my stocking which is the one to the far right. Hubby is a Redskins fan, so his is the one on the far left. We still put up our son’s stocking and hopefully he will be here next year, along with his new wife! The green one is for my dog, Joy and the tiny one in the center is for my bird George.

The Happy Holidays sign above was red, blue and yellow. I think I bought it one year from one of those school PTA fund raisers. It just didn’t go with anything, so I used acrylic paint, Crackle Paint, glitter and Flower Soft to update it!

The birdhouse needed updating to, so I used Crackle Paint and glitter to give it an icy look.

What is the theme for your mantel this year? Do you change it every year? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think of mine!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I am so happy you visited!
