BIBLE JOURNAL

Hello blogging friends! This year, I started a Bible Journal. I have been seeing them on Pinterest and got really interested in combining art with Bible study. Needless to say, I am very new to this, so my page is nothing like the beautiful ones I have seen on Pinterest, but I wanted to share it. My plan is to share a new journal page every Sunday, so if you like it, please let me know, and come back again!

Here is my first ever Bible Journal page:

““I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬ (http://bible.com/59/jhn.15.1-2.esv)

Some of the fruits of the Spirit are love, peace, faithfulness, long suffering, gentleness, self-control, goodness, kindness and joy. I wanted to include them so that when I see this entry I am reminded of these attributes and strive to exemplify them in my life. I used colored pencils and a black micro tip pen for this entry.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please take a second to let me know what you think!

Have a blessed Sunday!

DOODLE PANTRY & SEND A SMILE 4 KIDS

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Send a Smile 4 Kids. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Valentine Mice)

The challenge is Valentine/Love for Kids, and I immediately thought of Valentine Mice! The background is dry embossed. Once it was embossed I used the direct to paper technique and rubbed my DI pad over the embossing. The green and purple printed paper is from the digital set, as is the image and sentiment. Of course, you can used the pre-colored images if you like, but I printed the line art and colored with Copics, then fussy cut.

Do you have a small one to give cards to this season? Have some fun and join in the challenge to make a Valentine or love card for a child!

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Send a Smile 4 Kids and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

Thanks so much for stopping by to see what is going on at the Doodle Pantry. After leaving a comment here for me, please check out all of the awesome inspiration from our wonderfully creative Design Team!

Happy Crafting!

DOODLE PANTRY AIMPDC13

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends and HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2016 is here and that always means exciting new expectations for the new year. I know for me, it feels like a new start with lots of hopes and dreams. A lot of us, dream of dropping a few pounds, so that is the theme for my DT card this month!

The DOODLE PANTRY AIMPDC13 theme is Anything Goes. Here is what I came up with:

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Workout Birdie)

It looks like Birdie has decided to lose some pounds this year, but he has the right idea; don’t jump on that crash diet and burn out. Just take it one pound at a time!

The line art was printed and then colored with Copics, however this also comes with pre-colored images!   I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge AIMPDC13! Here is your link:
