BIBLE JOURNAL #6

Hello blogging friends!  Some things happened this week that reminded me of the importance of faith. I used to be a worrier. If I wasn’t worried about something, I started worrying what was going to happen that would make me worry (UGH)…..yes really. Well, now I know that faith is all I need to solve my worries. When I feel worry kicking in, I know I can pray and let God take care of it. What a blessing that is!

“For with God nothing shall be impossible..” Luke 1:37 (KJV)

The lettering on this entry is all by me, but the strawberry plants were done using peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. They are so small, they are perfect for a beginner like me! I can add things that I would normally shy away from just because I don’t have the talent to draw it. After I finished, I chalked the background.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please take a second to let me you were here!

Have a blessed Sunday!

STELLA SAYS SKETCH #402

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Gus – Consciousness); EF: Cuttlebug

I think Gus is such a hoot! I decided to add hand drawn hearts on his shorts and made sure his shirt had the appropriate stains! He was fussy cut and colored with Copics and attached with foam tape. The embossed background was colored using the Direct to Paper inking technique. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

Here is a link to the challenges so you can join in the fun!

DOODLE PANTRY AND FAB N FUNKY

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Fab n Funky. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Horses 3)

I used Doodle Pantry’s newly released Horses 3 for my card. I printed the line art and sentiment and colored with Copics. Then, I used the Out of the Box technique to cut them out. I dry embossed the light grey panel and make the background. To make it, I started with a darker grey card stock and used artist tape to create strips. I sponged white ink between the tape strips and then used a striped border stamp to add the black stripes. I hope you enjoyed my card!

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Fab n Funky and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

Thanks so much for stopping by to see what is going on at the Doodle Pantry. After leaving a comment here for me, please check out all of the awesome inspiration from our wonderfully creative Design Team!

Happy Crafting!
