Hi everyone! I’m back today with more Zentangle. I hope you enjoy!

Size: 3.5 x 3.5”; Zentangle Patterns: Viaduct, Nzeppel, Y-Chain, Tipple, Flux, Fescue, Black Pearl, Striping

This week the Shading Zentangle challenge pattern is Viaduct. I used a lot of different tangles in this, but I tried to repeat the patterns. I also tried to extend the shading to distinguish the different layers; hope you can tell!

This was done with a Micron pen and graphite pencils.

ZENTANGLE CHALLENGE: OKE TANGELATION

Hi everyone! I’m back today with more Zentangle. I hope you enjoy!

OKETangelationChallenge

Size: 3.5 x 3.5”; Zentangle Patterns: Oke, Shattuck, Scrawlz, Navaho

Last week, the Shading Zentangle challenge pattern was Oke tangelation. I have never done a tangelation before, so this is my take. Now, once I started, I realized I wanted the Oke tangle in the center, so I started over, but I forgot to take another picture of the line art. But you can get the idea from the photo above.

After drawing the outline of Oke, I added and aura and then filled in with black pen. The center of each section reminded me of Shattuck, so I chose that tangle as a filler.  This was done with a Micron pen and graphite pencils.

ZENTANGLE CHALLENGE: ABEKO

Hi everyone! I’m back today with more Zentangle. I hope you enjoy!

AbekoChallenge

Size: 3.5 x 3.5”; Zentangle Patterns: Abeko, Zinger, Nekton, Striping

A couple of weeks ago, the Shading Zentangle challenge pattern was Abeko. I apologize that I am so far behind with posts, but since our son and daughter-in-law moved here, I have been so busy! But it is the kind of busy that I love and had missed so much!

So, this is my take on Akebo, with some Zinger, Nekton and Striping. This was done with a Micron pen and Prismacolor and graphite pencils.
