CTB BINGO CHALLENGE

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge.  The challenge this week is BINGO and I chose the middle vertical row which includes Distress, Flower and Friendship:

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Life in Color),EF: Tim Holtz)

When I first saw this digital stamp I knew I wanted to try to quill it. It took a LOT longer than I exected, but I love the finished product. After printing the image and sentiment, I colored the image with Copic markers and then I quilled using the on-edge technique and a bit of traditional quilling. I am hoping the feathers can pass as flowers, and the sanded background counts as distressed. Of course the sentiment always work great for a friendship card! What do you think?

STELLA SAYS SKETCH #402

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Gus – Consciousness); EF: Cuttlebug

I think Gus is such a hoot! I decided to add hand drawn hearts on his shorts and made sure his shirt had the appropriate stains! He was fussy cut and colored with Copics and attached with foam tape. The embossed background was colored using the Direct to Paper inking technique. What do you think?

CTB: 6th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION SKETCH

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge.  This is Bugaboo’s 6th birthday, so they are having a big celebration. I made this card for the sketch challenge:

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Pups Balloons), Paper Smooches (sentiment); Die: Spellbinders)

This is another digital stamp that I got before Christmas, and once again, I am just getting around to using it. This cutie is colored with Copics and die cut with a SB oval, using the Out of the Box technique. I added various types of stitches and a Paper Smooches sentiment.  The balloon by the sentiment is cut from paper and coated with Glossy Accents. What do you think?

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge.  The challenge this week is BINGO and I chose the bottom row which includes Die cut,  Stitches and Sentiment:

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Mouse Candle), Paper Smooches (sentiment); Die: Spellbinders; EF: Darice)

I got this adorable digital stamp before Christmas, and once again, I am just getting around to using it.  I was fortunate to win some Bugaboo stamps last year, so I am having fun playing with them now that the holidays are over. This cute mouse is colored with Copics and die cut with a SB oval, using the Out of the Box technique. I added various types of stitches and a Paper Smooches sentiment. What do you think?

SSS SOMETHING NEW CHALLENGE

Hello sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the  Simon Says Stamp challenge.  The challenge this week is Something New:

SS1_6_2016_thumb1

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Snail Mail), Paper Smooches (sentiment); Dies: Fawn Lawn; EF: Darice)

I got this adorable digital stamp before Christmas, but I am just getting around to using it. One thing I love about Christmas is getting real cards in the mail. I am old fashioned I guess, but I still love receiving cards via the mail. I colored this cutie with Copics and used a Lawn Fawn die to cut him out. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

BUGABOO BINGO

Happy Fall Y’all!  I am stopping in today to share my card that I am submitting to the Bugaboo challenge.

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Enough Reindeer); Dies: Lawn Fawn)

Today’s challenge is BINGO and I chose Bugaboo Image, 3 Layers, Border. I was so very fortunate to win some Bugaboo stamps and this image is one of the ones that I chose. I am a sucker for cute dogs so this was a must have. I colored him with Copics and used DI to “age” the image and the sentiment. I layered the striped paper over the Santa paper and added a brown mat and stitching. I made a border for the image, matted that layer and used foam tape to attach. I used my Cameo to cut the jingle bells and used some baker’s twine.  I hope you like it!

Happy Wednesday sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my 2nd card that I am submitting to the Bugaboo challenge.

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Autumn Owl), Verve (Bountiful Harvest); Dies: Spellbinders

The challenge is a color challenge using fall colors. When I went to the Bugaboo shop to purchase a digi for this challenge, I couldn’t make up my mind, so I ended up with two of them! I shared the first card yesterday and this is the other image I could not resist. I colored him with Copics and stamped the sentiment using Verve’s Bountiful Harvest set. I hope you like it!

The challenge is a color challenge using fall colors. When I went to the Bugaboo shop to purchase a digi for this challenge, I couldn’t make up my mind, so I ended up with two of them! I will share the other card tomorrow. This squirrel looks like he is about as happy as you can get with his little stash of acorns. I colored him with Copics and made the sentiment on my computer. I hope you like it!
