MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi dear crafty friends. I have a second post for you today! This one is for CAS(E) This Sketch.

(A2; Stamps: Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Winter Night Sky), Heartfelt Creations (Image), magazine freebie (sentiment); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Misc: Ranger Liquid Pearls, Stickles, EP)

For this card, I stamped the trees and made a circle mask to cover them. I used Distress Inks to create the night sky and stamped stars using my tapestry stamps. I added Liquid Pearls and Stickles on the trees to make “ornaments” and gold Stickles to make the “stars” on top of the trees. I used red EP to emboss the sentiment, made a tag and placed over a red/white polka dot strip of ribbon. I attached the image panel to green metallic paper and popped up on white card stock.

I hope you enjoyed! Have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping by!

MOJO MONDAY–HAPPY BIRTHDAY

If you follow my blog you know I have been doing a lot of masculine birthday cards. Well, today I had the chance to make a feminine birthday card for a dear friend of mine.

This week at Mojo Monday, it is round or square. I wanted to use their sketch and decided on a 5x5 square.

Yesterday, I ran by Michaels for a minute and found this beautiful paper from MME. The paper pad is called In Bloom, but I cannot find a link to it anywhere! I used Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms dies to make the flower, SB for the leaves and the sentiment border. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you liked my card.

OPERATION WRITE HOME SKETCH 139

Hello crafty friends! Today is Sunday, so that means it is time for Operation Write Home’s sketch challenge!

I really wanted to use this window die from Memory Box on this card, so it is not exactly like the sketch, but close.  I used Heartfelt Creations trees “outside” the window and made a wreath using a pine punch to create the wreath shape.  The little table is from Great Impressions.  The lace, flower and sentiment are all from Inspired by Stamping, with the sentiment placed on a SB Labels Two.  The green strip under the rose is ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used Craftwell cardstock and scraps for my papers. Links to all are shown below.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am always so happy to see that you have been to my blog.

INSPIRED BY STAMPING

HAPPY FRIDAY to all my blogging friends!  Over at Operation Write Home, the card drive is on for holiday cards, so you will be seeing a lot of holiday cards from me.  This one is for the Inspired by Stamping challenge this week.

I used cardstock from Craftwell for this card and a Martha Stewart border punch set for the yellow panel.  The leaf image is from Heartfelt Creations. First, I embossed the image in gold and colored with Copics. I repeated that and used the coordinating Falling Leaves dies to cut out the leaves and layered them over the first image.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I used Liquid Pearls around the border.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am always so happy to see that you have been to my blog.
