DOODLE PANTRY & AUD SENTIMENTS

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Aud Sentiments. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.
(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Pumpkin Peeps and Candy Corn Ants)
This challenge is to make a Halloween card with a sentiment. I just love this little Panda in the pumpkin so I printed the line art from Pumpkin Peeps, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut him. I printed the sentiment, splattered some green and orange Distress Stain and added an oval behind the image.   I hope you like him!
Now it is  your turn! Get over to Aud Sentiments and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

BUGABOO COLOR CHALLENGE

Happy Wednesday sweet friends!  I am stopping in today to share my 2nd card that I am submitting to the Bugaboo challenge.

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Autumn Owl), Verve (Bountiful Harvest); Dies: Spellbinders

The challenge is a color challenge using fall colors. When I went to the Bugaboo shop to purchase a digi for this challenge, I couldn’t make up my mind, so I ended up with two of them! I shared the first card yesterday and this is the other image I could not resist. I colored him with Copics and stamped the sentiment using Verve’s Bountiful Harvest set. I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by!

GREAT IMPRESSIONS NO CARD OR TAG WEEK

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Welcome back for more inspiration from the Great Impressions store!

Time again for NO CARD and NO TAG week and this time, we are doing HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS!

It seems that, since our kids are grown and out of the house, Halloween just doesn’t seem as much fun. So, I was happy to have a chance to make these fun floating cheesecloth ghosts. I found the tutorial on Love and Laundry’s blog, and I know you would have a blast making them! Who knew cheese cloth and corn starch could be so much fun!!!

I have used electric candles inside of them to allow them to glow at night. I used black card stock to make the eyes and mouths. The  BOO! sentiment (using Great Impressions Boo! stamp #A135) is stamped on vellum using Stazon. I hope you enjoyed my ghosts!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a bit of inspiration from Great Impressions.
Be sure to check out the monthly challenge that starts TOMORROW and don’t forget to link your GI creations at our CUSTOMER GALLERY!

One last thing, be sure to “Like” Great Impressions on FACEBOOK and I’ll see you again next Saturday!

Happy crafting everyone!

DOODLE PANTRY AND TUESDAY THROWDOWN

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you. The challenge is a color challenge and the photo is below. I chose to use Doodle Pantry’s Bitty Bat & Pumpkin set.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Bitty Bat & Pumpkin)

I used the sentiment, image and DSP from the digi set. For the focal image, I placed the bat several times on the orange background, twirling him around and making him less opaque as he got “closer”. I merged the sentiment on the same image and printed the bat a second time so I could fussy cut him and attach with foam tape. I had some old (really old) bat brads in black and silver so I added some of them and did some stitching.

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Tuesday Throwdown and show us what you create! Use a Doodle Pantry image and enter it in the Doodle Pantry Challenge for a second chance to win. Plus you will get the Featured Product (below)!

I hope you enjoyed my card! Be sure to click here to see all of the new releases for this month and join us for DPDC51!

TRICK OR TREAT

UPDATED 10:25:2013 - Thank you for showcasing my card at Less Is More, Chrissie and Jen!

Hi dear friends! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

(A2; Stamps: StampingUp! Gorgeous Grunge; Dies: Spellbinders Gold Rectangles One)
I have had this little set of Halloween stamps so long I no longer have any idea where I got them. The Grunge stamp is the lines and the dies created the two lines of embossed borders. I started with embossing the borders then masked them and a circle to stamp the lines. Last, I stamped the image and colored with Copics.
I hope you like it!

HAVE A BOOTIFUL DAY

Wow, I can’t believe it is time to start on holiday cards, but I realized my Operation Write Home cards need to change seasons! This one can be used for Halloween or maybe just an any occasion since it doesn’t really say Halloween on it:

(A2; Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Candy Corn Ants COLOR) set includes image, paper and sentiment; Ribbons: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Die: Spellbinders)

I picked one of Doodle Pantry’s older sets for this card. I wanted to make something that could be used for fall and have always loved this cute image.

This was a super quick card to make since I used the OWH sketch. Cut an oval using the Oval Spellbinders and placed image in negative space. A little bling and a small bow and it was done! If you haven’t used OWH’s sketches before, you should check them out. They have dimensions of all pieces to help make it a quick card.

STITCHING WITH CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, AND CARDS CHALLENGE

This is my second card for today, so please scroll down if you would like to see the first one too! If you have already seen it and are back for more, thanks for coming back!

I am participating in a new challenge for me called Chocolate, Coffee and Cards. Well they had me at chocolate but chocolate and coffee is irresistible. Add cards to that and I am totally hooked!!! I’m also entering this at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The theme for this challenge is stitching, and anyone who follows me knows how much I love to stitch my cards! This one was no exception with stitching on all the panels with zig-zag at the top and straight stitching everywhere else. The purple base is embossed with a Fiskar’s embossing plate and is Craftwell paper. The other papers, image and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry’s Candy Corn Ants set. I used Spellbinders for the image and the sentiment, a ZVA crystal flourish and ribbon from RRR.

Challenges entered:
