GROOVY CHALLENGE

Hi everyone! I’m back today with more Zentangle. I hope you enjoy!

Patterns: Groovy, Florz, Zinger, Henna Drum

This is for the challenge at Shading Zentangle where the challenge is the pattern Groovy. This is a new pattern for me and was a challenge to shade!  I used a Micron pen, Prismacolor pencils and graphite pencils for this one. I like the bit of color on this tile, but it is not purely zentangle.

I almost forgot to take the “before” shot so I took it after the henna was colored.

DAISIES

Hi everyone! Today, I am sharing a Zentangle tile that I drew using daisies and ribbon with a background:

Patterns: Ribbon, Florz

This is a traditional Zentangle tile(3.5 x 3.5”) with daisies drawn with a Micron pen and the stems wrapped in ribbon. I used a very simple (Florz) pattern for the background.

ZENTANGLE INSPIRED ART

Hello sweet blogging friends! Surprise! I don’t have a card today. I have spent the last week working on my art. I had this scene in my head and finally got it down on paper.

This is an 8.5 x 11 inch sketch in graphite, Micron pen and Copic markers. The glass and bottle are decorated with Zentangle patterns and shaded with graphite pencils.

The Zentangle patterns I used are: Flux, Florz, Zinger, Showgirl.

Well, I hope you like my sketch. I really would like to hear what you think so please leave a comment!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy creating!

Ellen
