DOODLE PANTRY AND INCY WINCY

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Incy Wincy. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Poinsettia)

I chose the first row from the tic tac toe board, using Kraft, flowers and a die cut. The die cut is the green strip at the top and is topped with dark red pearls. The flowers are from Doodle Pantry’s Poinsettia digital set, as is the sentiment. I copied and pasted the flower a couple of times, arranged them, printed and colored with Copics. Then I fussy cut them and attached with foam tape. I printed the sentiment directly onto the Kraft paper and matted the panel with two different papers.  I hope you like!

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Incy Wincy and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

CASE-ing CHRISTMAS #27

Good day sweet friends! I am popping in to share my card for the CASE-ing Christmas challenge #27:

(A2: Digital Stamp: Karen Kajsan; Sentiment: By me on my PC; Border punch: Martha Stewart)

I found these delightfully cute little images on Karen Kajsan’s blog, and they are absolutely FREE! You can be prepared to see a lot more of these images on cards by me!

The challenge is to CASE one of MY cards that is not a Christmas card, but turn it into a Christmas card. Here is the card I chose to CASE. I used the same colors and very similar design:

TI161 & 52CCTD

Happy day sweet friends!  I am stopping in this today to share my card that I am submitting to the Tiddly Inks and 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenges.

(A2: Stamps:  Tiddly Inks (Snowman Sid)

Since the TI challenge is anything goes, I thought I would take advantage and get another Christmas card done. I recently won this snowman image from Tiddly Inks and was happy to try him out. I created the sentiment on my computer and colored the image with Copic markers. To add a snowy effect, I added bits of embossing paste to resemble snowflakes.

The challenge at 52CCTD is to use Kraft plus your favorite Christmas colors. I love red and white with Kraft so I colored the scarf red and added the red and white twine. I hope you like my card!

Thanks for stopping by!

DOODLE PANTRY & 613 AVE CREATE

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at 613 Ave Create. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Cake and Cookie)

The theme is a photo/color inspiration (see below) and those cupcakes looked so yummy to me, I had to use food for my card! I colored the image with Copic markers. The bottom of the focal panel was dry embossed with an embossing border and I tied a bit of striped ribbon around it. I used a border punch on the yellow panel and foam tape to attach it to the pink one. I hope you like it!

Now it is  your turn! Get over to 613 Ave Create and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

DOODLE PANTRY AND CRAFT YOUR PASSION

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Craft Your Passion. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.
The theme is Anything Goes, so it was a perfect time for me to try this card. I got the idea from Sandy Allnock’s Inside Outside Card and totally HAD to CASE it! I knew I could work some digital magic with the Doodle Pantry files to make my scene, so I got to work. First, I made the inside scene by combining various images and actually removing Charlie’s head Surprised smile!  I know, right? Not to worry! I used his head from the other set and used foam tape to add it to the front of the card.
For the fence, once I sized it, I copied it and flipped it so the front and back would match up. I added the cow, bird and puppy and printed that. I then colored front and back using Copic markers and I added just a bit of white Distress Crackle Paint on the fence to make it look weathered. I hope you enjoyed my card. Sandy did a great job explaining the process in her tutorial.
Now it is  your turn! Get over to Craft Your Passion and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

CASology 153: POP

Hi dear friends. Thanks for stopping by! Today, I am sharing my card for the CASology challenge. The theme this week is POP:

(A2: Stamps: Great Impressions (Party Cow -  F585) and Paper Smooches (Salutations); Die: Fawn Lawn

When I read the cue word, the first thing I thought of was a balloon popping, so I used this cute cow image. I used my Copic markers to color him and the sky and decided I would add some green DP to represent the ground. I bent the sentiment on the block to match the flow of the die cut. I hope you like this card!

Thanks for stopping by.

FANCIFUL FRIDAY

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Happy Friday! Let’s start the day with a card using a couple of beautiful stamps from Great Impressions!

This week, we are highlighting a Great Impressions tutorial and I chose Kendra’s Painters Tape Technique. I decided to do an ombre background using the tape and various greens. I then stamped the Queen Ann’s Lace in black and stamped it off a few times. Last, I used the sentiment and masked off the lower portion of it to just get the I Miss You part. I added some hearts and dots and mounted on black then yellow. What do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my card!

One last thing! I have enjoyed sharing my cards with you over the last year and seeing all of your fabulous creations. Sadly, my time at GI is up, so this is my last post. I’m sure I will be playing along in some upcoming challenges though, so stay tuned and have fun crafting!

Be sure to come check out our current challenge

If you use a Great Impressions on your project, please link it in our CUSTOMER GALLERY!

Happy crafting everyone!

ATCAS66: SPLASH

Hello to all my dear friends!Popping in to share my card for the  Addicted to CAS challenge whose theme is SPLASH.

I love Birdie from Doodle Pantry and remembered this image which I think is perfect for this code word! In the original digital set, birdie doesn’t have friends with him. I added the butterfly and frog from Cute Crawlies. The sentiment came from the Bird Bath set. After working digi magic, I printed and colored with Copic markers.  I hope you enjoy!

Hi dear friends. Thanks for stopping by! Today, I am sharing my card for the CASology challenge. The theme this week is NAUTICAL:

(A2: Cut file: Silhouette Studio; Stars: Verve (Golden Glam Shaker Mix; EF: Darice; Die: Spellbinders)

I don’t think you can see the dry embossing on the white panel, but it is embossed with clouds. I  used a square SB die to cut a window and placed the sentiment inside of the negative space. Some gold stars and a blue mat completes this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

ATSAM149: CAS

Hi dear friends. The card I have today is for the Addicted to Stamps challenge where they are celebrating their 3rd BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday!!!

(A2: Stamps:  Bugaboo (Girl Cupcake Tray); Sentiment: by me

A CAS birthday card for this challenge was a must have! I just think this image is so cute and I have not used it in a while, so I added the sentiment, printed, colored with Copic markers and used Lawn Fawn dies to first cut out the raised panel and then to emboss the card base. I hope you like!!!!
