RIC59: THANKS

As promised this is my last post for today. I thought I would give the Runway Inspired Challenge a go today:

(A2: Stamps: Inspired by Stamping (Delicate Doilies), Paper Smooches (Many Thanks); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Die: Paper Smooches (border die))

I was inspired by so many parts of the runway photo! I just loved that fabric and the fact that it was sort of sheer, so I used tissue paper on acetate to try to create that semi transparent look. I then stamped doilies on a strip of acetate to incorporate the bodice inset and added a strip of black ribbon. I loved the way the fabric floated and swirled around the model do I added the die cut border to try to create movement.

CTS73; RIC58: I MISS YOU SO MUCH

Hello and Happy Easter everyone! I am taking a few minutes away from the family to do two quick posts. I hope you day is going well and you are having a great time with family and friends. Here is my first card:

(A2: Stamps:Verve (Take Note), Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Floral Filigree); Cut files: Silhouette)

This card is for the CAS(e) This Sketch challenge which is combined with the Runway Inspired Challenge. So using the CTS sketch and the colors from the RIC, I came up with this card. The beautiful doily and orange flower are both cut files from my Silhouette Cameo. The small flowers are tapestry stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry, and the sentiment is from Verve. I hope you enjoyed seeing my card!
