DOODLE PANTRY AND TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.
(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Have a Gouda Day)
What a great sketch this week! I used the mouse print to make my background. I just copied and pasted to fill up the page. For the sentiment, I split “Friends” from the rest of the sentiment to make the card work better. I colored the image with Copic markers, added some stitching and some ribbon to finish it off. I don’t know about you but I think those little mice are just too cute!
Now it is  your turn! Get over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and show us what you create!

I  hope you enjoyed my card and don’t forget to join our challenge! Here is your link:

DOODLE PANTRY AND TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches today!   I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you. The sketch is at the bottom of this post.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Lady Bug Hugs)

I just love the bright colors in this set! The patterned paper is digital paper from the set. Two of the set sentiments are on this card, and for the image, I combined the ladybug on the flower with the plain flower (which I copied and pasted several times). These are all merged, printed and then colored with my Copic markers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and show us what you create!   Here is the sketch:

DOODLE PANTRY AND TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches today!  It is a sketch challenge, plus Bingo! I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Yummy Cupcake);  Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Flower: Inspired by Stamping: EF: Sizzix; Die: Spellbinders)

I don’t know what it is, but I have always been a sucker for cupcakes! I would rather have a cupcake than a slice of cake!

For this card, I chose “ribbon/embossing/flower from the bingo card. I printed the cupcake twice then colored the cupcake holder on one and colored the cherries on the other.

Somewhere I saw someone use embossing paste as cake icing, so I wanted to give it a try on this card! I used a little Distress Stain to color the paste and added it where the frosting would be. I pushed some little beads into the paste to resemble sprinkles, and after fussy cutting the cherries, I attached them with foam dots.

I dry embossed the red digi paper and cut it for the top and bottom strips, then used the same paper for matting.

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and show us what you create!   Here is the sketch:

DOODLE PANTRY AND TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I’m sure you will want to go over and play in the challenge, but first I have a little inspiration for you. The challenge is of course a sketch and I have included it below. I chose to use Doodle Pantry’s Chubby Chickadee set.

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Chubby Chickadee)

I love coloring with my Copics, but sometimes I get in a hurry and need to make a card quickly. That’s when I LOVE to use Doodle Pantry’s precolored images! I merged the chickadee and the sentiment onto the blue digital paper. Next, I printed everything, matted with black, added a strip of lace and layered up a flower. I mounted all of that on a black card base with a white insert.

Now it is  your turn! Get over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and show us what you create! Use a Doodle Pantry image and enter it in the Doodle Pantry Challenge for a second chance to win. Plus you will get the Featured Product (below)!

I hope you enjoyed my card! Be sure to click here to see all of the new releases for this month and join us for DPDC51!

DOODLE PANTRY AND Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! This week, Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches so here is my card made with the sketch:

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Carousel Horse 5); Dies: Spellbinders; EF: Cuttlebug; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

The DSP, sentiment and image are all from the Carousel Horse 5 set. I used the pre-colored image for this card and merged it onto one of the DSPs from the set, making sure to size it so it would fit the die I wanted to use. The background is made by using an embossing folder and rubbing the ink pad over one side of it. I then sprayed with water and pressed watercolor paper onto the ink. I love the effect this gives for a background.

I hope you enjoyed my card!

Be sure to pop over to the Doodle Pantry blog and join in the fun with DPDC47! Here is what is in store for you:

TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES #156

This is my second post for today. Please scroll down to see the first.

Hi again! Doodle Pantry is hosting Tuesday Morning Sketches and since I was planning to spend today making cards with my new Doodle Pantry fall stamps, I used the TMS sketch for a couple of them.  I am also sharing the two that I made without a sketch. (Added Thursday 7:25 – OK this is what happens when I hurry too much. I meant to also say this is going into the Operation Write Home Tutorial: Summer House & Stitching) I hope you enjoy!

These first two are made with the sketch:

Each card is 5.5 x 4.25”.

THE FIRST 2 CARDS QUALIFY FOR:

TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES #156

Operation Write Home Tutorial: Summer House & Stitching – Since I don’t have a house stamp I am doing the stitching.  All of these cards include stitching with my Singer sewing machine. I absolutely love using it for cardmaking.  I also sometimes pierce a pattern and stitch it manually.

I also made this card for:
Mynnette’s Spread the L-O-V-E challenge:

Another card for:

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am always so happy to see that you have been to my blog.
