Hi dear friends!  Today’s card is for the July Theme Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown:

(A2: Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Snowman Cheer); Shaker mix: Verve (Golden Glam Shaker Mix); Other: Stickles (Diamond), Copic Markers

The theme is Snowman, so I used this image from Doodle Pantry to create a shaker card. I colored him with Copic markers and added some Diamond Stickles and some Golden Glam Shaker Mix from Verve. The paper is from the Paper Studio.  I hope you like this card!

TI161 & 52CCTD

Happy day sweet friends!  I am stopping in this today to share my card that I am submitting to the Tiddly Inks and 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenges.

(A2: Stamps:  Tiddly Inks (Snowman Sid)

 

Since the TI challenge is anything goes, I thought I would take advantage and get another Christmas card done. I recently won this snowman image from Tiddly Inks and was happy to try him out. I created the sentiment on my computer and colored the image with Copic markers. To add a snowy effect, I added bits of embossing paste to resemble snowflakes.

The challenge at 52CCTD is to use Kraft plus your favorite Christmas colors. I love red and white with Kraft so I colored the scarf red and added the red and white twine. I hope you like my card!

Hi dear friends!  Today’s card is for the June Theme Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown:

(A2: Stamps: Mo Manning – Mo’s Digital Pencil; Sentiment: by me)
The theme is elves and I realized I didn’t have one stamp of an elf! I did some searching and found this adorable image at Mo’s Digital Pencil. I added the sentiment on my computer, printed and colored with Copic markers. I added a touch of ribbon and a green mat.

Hello again. I promise this is my last post for today. This card is for the  52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

OK. This was so easy. I don’t usually just cut out DP and use it as my card, but I happen to LOVE this paper and this particular image, so I cut it to fit my card, made some pennants and added enamel dots. All done!

52CCTD: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello and happy Monday. I just got back from the dentist, so I am now a happy camper. I always dread going, but my treat for making myself go is a stop at Ben and Jerry’s afterwards! LOL.

So after my ice cream fix, I am ready to share this card which is for the  52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

(A2: Stamps: Heartfelt Creations, Hampton Arts Stamps (Judy’s Merry Christmas); Stencil: Simon Says Stamp (Snowfall); EP: Sparkle N Sprinkle (Ice Rink and Winter White); Dreamweaver Embossing Paste)

I used a dark blue background with a little sparkle to it. I first stamped the tree using Winter White EP and then embossed the sentiment with Ice Rink. Next, I stenciled the snowfall with the embossing paste and added a few rhinestones on the tree. I hope you enjoyed seeing my card!

52CCTDJuneStash: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello again. This is my third post, and second Christmas card for today.  This card is for the  52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

(A2: Stamps: Unknown; Stencil: Studio Calico; Cut file: Silhouette)

For the white panel, I used the SC Chevron stencil and embossing paste. Once I removed the stencil, I sprinkled some Distress Embossing Powder and heat set it. The challenge is to use a charm, but since I didn’t have one, I used my Silhouette and cut one. I heat embossed the sentiment and mounted the panel on a red card base.

52CCTD: CHRISTMAS WISHES

Hi my crafty friends! Welcome back for the third post today. This is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown recipe challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Ornamental Christmas); DSP: Recollections (Botanical Noel)

OK, this was really an easy card. The Botanical Noel paper is so pretty, all I did was cut it down to size and add a dark green border. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and added a few red and green enamel dots. Last I added the ribbon and attached all to a card base.

52CCTD: TIS THE SEASON

Hi my crafty friends! How’s your week going? I am just popping in to share a card with you real quick. This is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown recipe challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Seasonal Swags); EF: The Paper Studio; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon)

Wow this card came together quickly! I first printed the holly outline which I merged with the sentiment so I could align them as I wanted them on the card. I also printed the papers at the same time. I cut the main panel and debossed it using the holly EF from The Paper Studio. I colored the holly with Copics, added the pennants, ribbon and rhinestones and was done!

52CCTD: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi dear blogging friends. I hope you had a fantastic Mother’s Day! I just spent the day relaxing with my husband and was so excited that I got to hear from my daughter and my soldier son.

But on to business! Today,  I have a Christmas card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Ornamental Christmas), Whiff Of Joy (Henry the Christmas Mouse); Copics; Baker’s Twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon; Card stock: CutMates)

The challenge is a color challenge and I wasn’t sure at first if I could do it with Henry, but I think he is cute colored like this. This is pretty straightforward, just added him to different colors of card stock and attached to a black card base. I hope you like him!

52CCTD SKETCH; PS: SEASON’S GREETINGS

Hi dear blogging friends. Honestly, I cannot figure out where the days go! Here we are at Wednesday and I don’t even know where Monday went! Well, I have a couple of cards to share today. This first one is a Christmas card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and Paper Smooches:

 

(A2: Dies: Paper Smooches (Bitty Bungalows and Season’s Greetings): Die: Paper Smooches (Borders); EF: StampinUp!)

I stuck pretty close to the sketch for this card by stamping the sentiment and then embossing the main white layer. I used the PS curved border to make the hill and stamped/fussy cut the clouds and house. I paper pieced the door and added “snow” with a white gel pen. I added a few tiny rhinestones to emulate the snowflakes in the sketch.

52CCTD: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello dear friends! I have a Christmas card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge

(A2: Stamps: Doodle Pantry (Pearfect Tree and Wreath), EK: Merry Christmas))

The theme for 52CCTD is 12 Days of Christmas, so I decided to use this image and sentiment from the Pearfect Tree and Wreath digital stamp set from Doodle Pantry. I opened the tree in Silhouette, traced it, printed and then cut it. I printed the partridge in a pear tree verse and attached the tree with foam tape. I stamped Merry Christmas at the bottom and added a tiny green bow.

52CCT: CHRISTMAS WISHES

Hello again! This is the second Christmas card for today and it is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge:

(A2: Stamps:Verve (Ornamental Christmas; DP: MME (Vintage Christmas; Stencil: The Crafters Workshop (Mini Art Is))

For this card I wanted to make the base panel and make it vintage to go along with the vintage DP. I used white card stock and a stencil from TCW with Distress Ink and a sponge. I wasn’t too careful getting the DI on the stencil because I wanted to lettering to look faded. Once that was done, I used DI to “age” the page. I cut the Santa from the DP and added the little green panel from the same paper pack.

52CCTD; CCC15: FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS

Hi sweeties! I hope your week started off with a lot of crafty time. Today, I have another Christmas card to share. This is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and Christmas Card Challenges #15:

(A2: Cut files: Paper Smooches (Bitty Bungalows) EK (inside sentiment), Copics; Die: Paper Smooches (border))

The 52CCTD challenge is a color challenge so I chose blue, dark teal, dark green and red. The CC15 challenge is to make a CAS Christmas card. Hopefully this fits the bill.

I cut the hills and the bottom border of the card front using the PS border die. After coloring the house, I fussy cut it and attached next to the front of card sentiment. I stamped the inside with the Merry Christmas sentiment so it can be seen when the card is open or closed.

52CCT: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello my dear blogging friends! It is time for another Christmas card I made for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown sketch challenge. As I am writing this post, it is snowing to beat the band! Of course here in NC we don’t get much snow, so the 3 – 4 inches that have fallen in the past couple of hours is incredible. Perfect day for making Christmas cards!

I decided to keep this card simple to highlight the beautiful sentiment.  I think this was one of the first stamps I ever bought and I still love it. This time, I heat embossed the sentiment. I chose red, black, green and gold for my colors in this challenge.

Hello my dear blogging friends! It is time for another Christmas card I made for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown sketch challenge.

I loved this simple sketch and just had to use this poinsettia cut file. I did take the liberty to move the sentiment, so I hope that is OK. It just seemed to work for this card. Very quick and simple card.
