LET IT SNOW!

Welcome back crafty friends! I’m so happy you have chosen to visit me In a World of Craft.  I am sharing another Christmas card today and it is so very different from yesterdays!  I love snowmen and decided to have a little fun creating a fun card with a rather silly faced snowman.
This is another 5x7 card so the base is that size and is from some ATB cardstock that I had left over from last year.  I then cut 2x2 squares in a coordinating ATB cardstock and mounted them as diamond shapes. More 2x2 squares in white were then stamped using Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Snowy Wonderland Set.  I just adore the details in this set! The reverse images come out clean and crisp every time. And those little evergreen trees; Wow! Look at the delicate detail there.

Last, cut a 1x1 and stamp it with the same stamp set and with the included sentiment “Let it snow”.  Stamp the little snowman on a scrap and cut it out. Mount both the snowman and the sentiment on a dimensional pop-up foam glue dot.

My funny faced snowman is quilled using 1/8 inch white, black and light blue quilling strips and finished with some wiggly eyes. I crocheted the trim using nylon thread in the Arcade Edge pattern.

Finish off with a double white bow, white pearls and some glitter!  I hope you like this card! Please leave comments before you leave and thank you for stopping by!
