DOODLE PANTRY OLDIES BUT GOODIES

Welcome to the Doodle Pantry “Oldies But Goodies” Mini Blog Hop! You should have come to me from Donna’s blog. If not, you will want to go to the Doodle Pantry blog and start at the beginning so you can see all of the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team! Now we know how busy you all are in December, so this is a mini hop with just 10 stops. You know you have a little time for that over coffee, right?
The Hop starts today and finishes on Sunday December 9 at midnight EST. Our sweet Laurie is offering a $20.00 gift coupon to ONE lucky commenter. In order to have the best chance to win, make sure you comment on every team members blog because one DT member will be randomly chosen and then one person commenting on her blog will be randomly chosen to win!
OK. Here is my card:
DPBlogHop
This stamp set is the Scarlet Paintbrush set which is so beautiful and versatile. I used the pre-colored image, but if you are in the mood to color, the set includes the outline as well. With two patterned papers and eight sentiments, you will find many uses for this set!
Since the blog hop is “Oldies But Goodies” I decided to distress and age my card to look old.  I used lace, a doily and some Martha Stewart border punches to add to the aged effect.
Thanks for stopping by. DON’T FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT for a chance to win!!! OH, almost forgot! Doodle Pantry’s sale is still going on!!!! 35% OFF IMAGE PRODUCTS (not Gift Certificates) THROUGH JANUARY 3RD,  so be sure to stop by the shop for some goodies!
Up next is Debbie. Be sure to stop by and leave her some sweet comments too! If you get lost along the way, here is the list of hops:

Beautiful and it does look old with the distressing and the doily. Great job.

You have captured the essence of the flower and the age in which the photo could have been taken. Don't you always think of cards as photos into time - I do. Beautiful work and I need to use more precolored images. You have inspired me!

I really like your card but can't figure out how you did your image. Is it printed on vellum and then cut so it overlaps part of the doily? It's quite nice.
