MY CHRISTMAS JOY

Wow! What a week this has been. My little Joy is growing so fast and keeping me extra busy, but I am having so much fun with her!  I wish you could see how adorable she really is.  In order to get time in my studio, I have resorted to crating her for part of the day. The funny thing is, she seems to enjoy sitting in the studio and watching me create.  Man I love this puppy! She is sleeping at my feet as I write this post (soooo cute).

I am so happy you chose to stop by In a World of Craft to see what I am creating.  Today, I have a beautiful Christmas card that I am so excited to share with you.

This card is made from the amazing MME Lost & Found Christmas collection.  These papers are so gorgeous I just love working with them!  You can see that I have altered the base card on the lower right side with Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s  Cardinal Resting in Holly Set, Zig Zag Ornament Peg Stamp - Mini  and Zig Zag Ornament Peg Stamp - Tiny. A Separate piece of paper from the collection is cut with a Fiskar’s edger and placed under the right side of the base layer.

OH! Did you notice that tailored bow? So pretty and just perfect for this card. It is made using a cream color grosgrain ribbon.

Don’t you just love the dainty detail of these stamps? On the medallion I used RST’s Joy Block Stamp (1" x 1.5") and embellished it with the Cardinal Resting in Holly Set, Spellbinders Labels Two was used to shape the medallion. I used two sizes and mounted the smaller one on foam dimensional glue dots for a raised effect.  The small layer is edged in gold pen and finished with 3 red “rhinestones”.  The lower one is edged with a glue pen and sprinkled with red glitter.
