Woohoo! Happy Sunday!!!! OK what did you do to stay in out of the heat today? I worked on cards in my studio this afternoon while little Joy took a nice long nap!
If you haven’t heard yet, Operation Write Home is having an awesome bloghop this week with our sister organization in Denmark!!! Every card on each hop has a sketch that was created by none other than the super talented Paula. I want to make every sketch on the hop working from start to finish, so this afternoon I made the first four. Boy, do I have a lot of cards to make this week!
Here are the first four and here is the link to the hop so you can check out the sketches. I don’t want to post too many pictures, so I am just going to place a link under each picture to the hop with that sketch.
View sketch1 here. This card uses plain cardstock from Craftwell, a digital stamp from Doodle Pantry. Spellbinders, Cuttlebug embossing folder and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. (Shopping links below at end of post)
View Sketch2 here (This is going to be an AnyHero card). This card uses plain cardstock from Craftwell, a digital stamp from Doodle Pantry. Spellbinders, Cuttlebug embossing folder and a ZVA crystal flourish. (Shopping links below at end of post)
View Sketch3 here NOTE: Be sure to read Sandy’s definition of this card. I am not sure what it is called either, but it was easy and fun to make. This card uses plain cardstock from Craftwell, a digital stamp from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff, a Rubber Stamp Tapestry block stamp and DSP from Wild Rose Studio. (Shopping links below at end of post)

So, I had FUN staying out of the heat. I hope you did too! Please enjoy the bloghop and come back to see more of the awesome sketches with my twist on them .
I also made this card for:
Mynnette’s Spread the L-O-V-E challenge:
*Operation Write Home: Supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am always so happy to see that you have been to my blog. Please leave comments so I know you were here! PLEASE HELP ME GROW! If you are not a follower yet, would you please click follow?

Oooh wow, those are all really awesome! I love the red white and blue one. Isn't this going to be the best week ever? I have so much inspiration to follow.:)
Fabulous group of cards! Very impressive that you managed to do the hop and create all the se beautiful cards from the sketches. Hard to pick just one favorite from these but that "kickstand" card i just stunning! Such beautiful papers and colors and the way you popped the flower is wonderful.
Oh wow these are all fantastic! I'd be hard pressed to pick just one favorite. It's a tie between the cheerful View 1 and the gorgeous Vies 3. I'm lovin all the inspiration.
I have to agree that the kickstand card is fan-tab-u-lous!
Hi here and happy 4th of July. I like your version of my sketch - but dont be afraid to try the spinning wheel one day - not that difficult I promise! =0) Thanks for visiting me during the OWH/OWH bloghop - my team and I were very surprised to receive all these lovely comments. CharlieDK from OSH
Oh, these are all so awesome! The first one made me smile, but the second one, with the flag, took my breath away. Good luck on getting them all done! I'll admit I tried and couldn't pull it off. But I'm going to try going back to the ones I missed.
