Happy Monday evening! Yes, Monday is over and you can celebrate!!! Woot party time! Actually, it rained all day and we had the most beautiful rainbow tonight! It was a full rainbow stretching across the sky down into the trees on both sides. I took two pictures and combined them to get the full rainbow and here it is:
I don’t know about you, but it has been many, many years since I have seen a rainbow. And, I’m not sure when I last saw a full one. There were a lot of people taking pictures!
OK, enough chit-chat it is time for cards. Yes plural because I have two cards for you that I made using Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps.
What is better than purple and pink for a little girl? I can’t think of any better colors, so that is what I used! The light pink base is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and border punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The focal panel was cut using a SB Romantic Rectangle, edged in ink and bordered with peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The sentiment is also from them and the heart was inked using one of their templates (see product links below). The ribbon is from RRR.

I was going to make a one layer card, but decided to add a border and I think it turned out better with the border. I stamped the greenery with a peg stamp again from RST, added the ornaments and the sentiment, then stamped some flowers in the O. Once complete I used a gold pen to “hang” the ornaments and outline the design.
