Hello to all my blogging friends! I am so happy to announce today that I am the Guest Designer over at Addicted to CAS for the month of February! Thank you sweet ladies for choosing me to join you!
This week’s challenge is hosted by Harriet and her code word is MASK. I know that can be taken several ways, so I chose to use the masking technique. Also, the challenge is sponsored by Inspired by Stamping and I could not resist using a couple of stamp sets from Joanna!
(A2; Stamps: Inspired by Stamping (Elegant Flowers and Little Flowers); Border: Martha Stewart; Copic Markers)
For the masking, I covered the bottom portion of the panel and stamped the large flower first (from Elegant Flowers). I then masked the flower and stamped the little flowers, the leaves and the sentiment (from Little Flowers), masking them as I went. Last, I uncovered the bottom of the card and masked the top. I then used the punched out MS border as a stencil and green ink to create the border. I could have made it a one layer card, but decided I wanted a little dimension. so I added the green mat and popped the panel up on the base using foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope to see what form of masking you chose for your card! Here is the link to the challenge:
Happy Crafting!

WOW, Ellen. What a gorgeous masked card. Your faux multi-layers is stunning. I also love that you kept all of the elements at the top of the card. I never think to do that. So glad to have you along as our GD this month.

Gorgeous card Ellen. Really beautifully stamped, masked and sponged! You achieved wonders with your inks and so clever to use that punched border as a stencil!
