IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Happy Saturday to all my wonderful crafty friends! I am so happy you stopped by to see what is up In a World of Craft.  Joy decided to take a nice long nap this morning so I had a chance to make cards….in fact, I made three and am excited to share them with you.  I will share two of them today and save one for tomorrow Smile.  If you want to see my second card please click here.

The first card is made using the Mojo Monday #213 sketch.  I used MME Lost and Found Christmas and some gorgeous seam binding on this card.

I decided to stick with a square card, but I know I will be trying a round one before too much longer.  I really love this layout.

The red crochet edging is a piece that I crocheted from a pattern called Picot Arches using number 10 thread.  I am very happy with how it turned out!  The circle is stamped with the Poinsettia Twist stamp set from Rubber Stamp Tapestry.  I added red glitter around the outer edge of the circle to match the red glitter on the paper.  The oval is cut with Spellbinders Beaded Oval, stamped with RST’s Joy Block Stamp, and with Poinsettia Twist. I put some more red glitter on the beaded part of the oval to complete the sentiment medallion.

Complete instructions are listed below, so if you want all the details, please scroll down.

I hope you like my card and will leave comments before you leave! Thanks for stopping by….

Ellen, this is really nice! I absolutely love the crochet doily. I use crocheted lace and flowers a lot, but can't crochet anything myself. I'm so impressed! Thanks so much for joining The Beary Scrap's "Your Beary Best" challenge. Good luck!

Cheers,
Susan
