TLC364 WRINKLE FREE DISTRESS

Hi all my crafty friends! I have to ask, did “wrinkle free distress” make anyone other than me giggle?  I mean, if you have kids you know what I mean, right? I guarantee every time one of my kids distressed me, I got wrinkles! hehe!!

Well, if  you saw my post from earlier today, you already know I have had a very exciting day! If you didn’t see it, click here to check it out!!  I am still so excited about winning one of the Operation Write Home * challenges and the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge.

I had so much fun with SplitcoaststampersTLC364 ~ Wrinkle Free Distress ~ I decided to do that technique on this Funky Fold birthday card.

Keith's Bday

Yep, those are digi stamps from Digital Delights, but they are pre-colored, LOL.  I don’t know if I will ever be one to color them myself, but I thought they were cute and just what I needed for this card. I added the little wiggly eyes to Dapper Boo Boo to add even more silliness to this little guy.  The red and silver papers are both metallic.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Fired Brick and Wild Honey and a mister bottle to make the background for the tags.  The stamp is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and the edge is done with a silver Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

A bouquet of balloons is included on the inside along with the liner which is attached with coordinating paper.

AROUND MY HOUSE:

the ice princess 2_14_2012

Today, Around My House, I dropped a cube of ice and before I could pick it up, Joy grabbed it and ran. Here she is lying here with her beloved ice cube.  She was so funny chasing it around on the tile because every time she tried to pick it up, her nose or foot would hit it and it would shoot across the room. So, great fun for the “little ice princess”, and yes she ended up eating her cube of ice.
