Hi sweet friends and Happy Friday! I have good news: IT IS RAINING and we really need it! When I went for my walk at 6:30 AM it was 74 degrees and 90% humidity. It felt like walking into a wet blanket. It got up to about 100 today but this storm has cooled it down to 79 right now!
I am sharing my CAS-ual Fridays card that I made using the Verve sketch for this week. All of the paper used for this card is from my scrap pile. In fact, I only used scraps for all of my cards today. I think I need to keep doing that for a while so I can get rid of some of it! I hope you enjoy!
The balloon is from an Inspired by Stamping set and I colored it with Copics then fussy cut it. The white clouds are from a Memory Box die and the cloud embossing folder is from Darice. A Martha Stewart double edge punch, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbono and sentiment from Rubber Stamp Tapestry complete the card.
I popped the balloon up with foam dots and rounded two of the corners with a corner rounder punch.
Now for the challenges:
CAS-ual Fridays:
CFC63: Create a Clean And Simple project using the challenge colors- lime, aqua & navy
The Verve sketch: Viva La Verve! July Week 5
I also made this card for:
Mynnette’s Spread the L-O-V-E challenge:
Another card for:
*Operation Write Home: Supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.
