Can you believe April is already here? And, since it is the first Tuesday that means it is Technique Time Tuesday! This month, Mynnette has a fantastic tutorial on Water Stamping. Water stamping is basically inking the cardstock and using water on the stamp to create your design. It is really easy to do when you follow Mynnette’s tutorial!
Here is my DT card:
I made my water stamping panel first using Memento dye ink, Danube Blue and Pear Tart. The stamp I used is from Inkadinkado. After creating my water stamping panel, I used a SB Romantic Rectangle to cut it out and placed a blueberry blue panel beneath it. The left side of the blue panel is punched with a MS border punch. The sentiment tag is stamped with the Pansy and Daisy Wreath set from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The Thank You sentiment is one of RST’s block stamps. The flowers and butterfly are from a Hampton Arts/Sizzix set and the ribbon is from RRR.
Need more inspiration? Be sure to pop over to Technique Time Tuesday and check out the rest of the DTs creations! Then be sure to link up your creation!!
