HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYNNETTE!

Surprise! Today is my good friend Mynnette Kitchen’s birthday and we are having NOT ONE, BUT TWO  Blog Hops to celebrate!
One blog hop starts at Technique Time Tuesday and the other at Inkspirational!!! There are prizes too! I’ll give you all the deets on the blog hops after we see Mynnette’s card!

For the Technique Time Tuesday blog hop we each chose our favorite technique for this year. I loved the Dahlia Fold that is our May technique, so I chose it. For the Inkspirational blog hop we CASEd one of Mynnette’s cards. The one I chose is shown below.

And, this is the inside of my card.

I used the overall layout of Mynnette’s card but used a different embossing folder and instead of three butterflies, I used one larger one. I also added my sentiment on the face of the card.
OK. If you started either at Inkspirational or Technique Time Tuesday, it all comes together here on my blog. Both of the links for each hop is below:
Oh yes a blog hop with birthday cards for Mynnette and, of course, BLOG CANDY!

In order to have a chance to win, you need to visit each blog and leave a comment on each one, including this one. You will have until 5:00 PM EST on Thursday May 16th to leave your comment. One of the sites in each blog hop will be randomly chosen and we will randomly choose a winner from the comments on that site, using Random.org.  The winners will be posted Friday May 17th!
Winners will have one (1) week to get in touch with me to claim your prize.
OK. Time to get hopping! Have fun and don’t forget to leave those comments!

This is really beautiful, Ellen! You chose a great card to case, and I do like the look of your Dahlia fold flower. I must admit I've never tried this myself, but I love that about card making - so many new things to try that you don't have time to get bored! The combination of punched pine branches and ferns is beautiful, and I like how you placed the embossed square a bit off center.
