HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi sweet friends! It’s time again for TECHNIQUE TIME TUESDAY!  YES! A video tutorial of another awesome technique from my very sweet friend, Mynnette!

This month’s gorgeous technique is Faux Cloisonné!

(A2; Paper: Glossy magazine page, cardstock; Stamps: Inspired by Stamping (Christmas Greetings) (Delicate Doilies), StampinUp! (Gorgeous Grunge), Inkadinkado (swirls); EP: Inkadinkado (Pearlescent), Sparkle N Sprinkle (Winter White), Ranger (Gold)

OK, you have to admit that doily looks beautiful embossed in gold atop the magazine page! It doesn’t seem to matter what the picture is as long as you get the colors you want. The embossing just works magic!

For the background, I used more embossing, white-on-white and clear pearlescent. I added some randomly placed crystals for more glitz and mounted on gold metallic paper. Hope you like it!

To see how to make a card using this technique, go see Mynnette’s video at Technique Time Tuesday. Then make sure to link up your creation so we can all see it!
