MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi all my sweet friends. I hope you are well on your way to being ready for Christmas! It is so hard to believe another year is almost gone, but here we are on the first Tuesday of December so that means it is time for Technique Time Tuesday! This month you get to choose your favorite past technique, but you will need to hurry because the challenge ends on the 15th! I chose to do Faux Silk again because I love that technique.

(A2; Stamps: There She Goes stamps (Snowy Days); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Lace: Inspired by Stamping; Dies: Spellbinders (Circles) and Paper Smooches (border); Punch: Martha Stewart (Snowflake); Misc: Copics, “silver beads” from AC Moore, rhinestone, scrap paper)

This time, I uses white tissue paper and colored the image, but used a light blue paper behind it that had a start on it. Can you see it peeping through behind the dog?  I used the curved border die from Paper Smooches on the bottom piece of DP, the green border and the white layer. I curved the TSG sentiment to fit and stamped on the white layer. I then used a 1/8” piece of double sided tape and laid the beads along the edge.

To see how to make a card using this technique, go see Mynnette’s video at Technique Time Tuesday. Then make sure to link up your creation so we can all see it; but don’t forget, you only have until the 15th! Merry Christmas!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Love your little snowman image! Very cute! The Faux Silk creates sort of a snowy background! :)
