Hello to all my sweet friends! Today, I will get right to my card. It is being entered in The Shabby Tea Room’s Week #90 – ‘Winter Picnic’ and Mojo Monday 217.
Here is my card….
…..and here are the inspiration photo and sketch:
Personally, I love that inspiration photo and the MM sketch is awesome! I was so happy I had a chance to make a card for these challenges. Of course, no picnic is complete without flowers, so there are flowers on my card .
Of course, the photo had snow, so I included snow on my card; from the snowflake stitch on the ribbon to the stenciled snowflakes on the background and the cut out snowflakes at the bow, this card has snow.
Oh yeah, I forgot! The bells have Liquid Pearls While Opal on them to resemble snow and even the rhinestones are called snowflake LOL.
The snowflakes and sentiment are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Merry Christmas peg and Winter Night Sky stamp set.
The bottom panel is made from a silver metallic paper to represent the hardware in the photo. The strip at the top of the panel is a white and silver glittery paper that I just love. I could only find a scrap to use on this card lol.
Complete instructions are listed below, so if you want all the details, please scroll down.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my card today and will leave comments before you leave! Thanks for stopping by….
