OWH Sketch #109 & MWT

Whew! I am so far behind on my cards this week, I’m not sure I can catch up. I am posting a quick blog that shows two of my Operation Write Home* cards. They are both for the MidWeek Throwdown- Mother’s Day challenge and the Sketch challenge #109.  One is shabby and the other is CAS. I’m not sure which one I like the most. Well, here they are:

This card is a more traditional approach to the sketch and sticks pretty close to it without much interpretation. 

These gorgeous stamps are BRAND NEW at Rubber Stamp Tapestry!  It is called Peony Garden Peg Stamp Set and is a set of 4 peg stamps (1 Mini, 1 Bitty, 2 Tiny sizes).I used Liquid Pearls for the flower centers.

The embossing folder is new for me!  It is Tim Holtz Fancy & Floral Frames Set A2. The sentiment is printed from my computer.

I took quite a few liberties with the sketch for this card, but the influence is still evident.  This is the second embossing folder in the Tim Holtz set.  Memory Box Quinn Flourish, Michaels flower, Really Reasonable Ribbons Daisies on Apple Green Grosgrain.

I don’t know…..what do you think? #1 or #2?
