OWH & STAMP SCHOOL

Hey sweeties!!! Only one post for today…and thank goodness because this has been an extremely busy day.  I was able to combine the Stamp School sketch with the Operation Write Home* VCMP challenges to make one card.  I wanted to do individual cards for OWH but just ran out of time.

OWH VCMP 5&6

This card is the standard A2 size for OWH and is made from MME Paris & Co paper and Recollections card stock. The card stock has a shimmering finish on it that I just love, so I embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder. I live the effect….what do you think?

That sweet little happy birthday stamp is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry.  Isn’t it just adorable? The flower I picked up at AC Moore and the medallion is Memory Box’s Quinn Flourish topped by Spellbinders Lacey Circle.

I added a pretty flourish underneath, mounted the Quinn Flourish and then used a dimensional to attach the sentiment.

I love the flat bow since it adds a pretty touch without a lot of bulk.

Now for the challenges:

  • And Mynnette’s Spread the L-O-V-E challenge since this will be sent to our troops and will make it’s way home to a friend or loved one.

*Operation Write Home: Supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them. Please consider volunteering and donate cards to our heroes!!

I hope you enjoyed reading about all of my card today.  Please feel free to leave comments because I really do enjoy reading them! Have a great day.

hugs,

Ellen
