Hi everyone! I’m back from my visit with my daughter and trying to catch up with house work, cards, and my blog. Whew it was a fun week and now I am tired LOL. I’ll share some pictures with you later in this post, but for now, let’s talk about cards.
Specifically, let’s talk about CAS-ual Fridays CFC49 sketch challenge card that I made. It is that time of year for graduations and I have my first invitation. So I made this graduation card using the CFC sketch.
The little framed window is popped up using foam tape. Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Sand Dollar and Starfish Border peg set was used to fill the window and create the path down to the sentiment. The sentiment stamps are from the stamp set I won in Stamp School’s February giveaway.
Not a traditional graduation card, but for someone who loves the beach, I thought it would be appropriate.
VACATION:
Here are a few pictures taken while I was with my daughter.
I love to watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on Food Network. One night we saw Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint on the show. It was very close to where my daughter lives, and being a huge Bar-B-Que fan, I just had to go there. I definitely was not disappointed. The Bar-B-Que was outstanding! It was tender, juicy and very tasty, so if you love Bar-B-Que (and since I am from the South that means PORK) and you are near Nolansville, TN, you must stop by Martin’s and give it a try.
Too bad we didn’t have any together, but I just love her pictures!
NOW FOR THE CHALLENGES:
I also made this card for:
