I don’t know if I should just give up on CAS or keep striving to perfect it *sigh*. I cannot understand how this style can be so hard for me. This week, at CAS-ual Fridays, we are adding bling. Oh my, just when I am trying to wrap my head around CAS they throw bling my way. I had such a hard time stopping once I started adding it LOL.
Also, at Make My Monday, the challenge is making a birthday card with pearls, so I chose to combine these two challenges to see what I could come up with. I have been wanting to do a pierced card for a while and finally pulled out my Erika Fortgens piercing templates to play. I used templates 4050349 and 4050350 to create this design and added Recollections pearls.
The paper is Recollections and Craftwell. The stamp is from Inspired by Stamping’s Ahoy, Matey stamp set. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
So, please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcomed since I am trying to learn this style.
