OWH BLOGHOP CARD SKETCHES 19 AND 20

T.G.I.F.!!!!!!! Happy Friday, we just got some rain! Woohoo!!! Wow. We really need more but the rain cooled things off and it is such a wonderful break from the heat. I only got two of the sketches done today, but only two left for tomorrow. 

I have to admit, I almost skipped this sketch. I have never made bunting and didn’t have a template so I had to figure out what I had that I could use to make this.  The only thing I could think of was the Rubber Stamp Tapestry template that includes a triangle, so I used it to mark of diamonds on the back of my DSP, cut them out and folded in half.  They were larger than the sketch called for so I only used three and topped them with yellow pearls.  The butterfly is made using a fork and baker’s twine and the flower and leaf are from Inspired By Stamping.

Papers are K&Company Julianne and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used Spellbinders for the circle and stacked the layers 5 deep to create the depth. (links below)

This card uses World Travels paper by Teresa Collins. I just love the rich colors in this set. The image is from Dover Publications. I downloaded it and enhanced the resolution before printing.   A Martha Stewart edger punch was used for the strip at the bottom.

Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, Recollections pearl flourish and Prima flower complete this card.
