DOODLE PANTRY HANG IN THERE PANDA

Happy Monday sweeties!  I am so happy today because our son is safely tucked in a Ft. Riley as of yesterday!!!!! He left on Friday, driving his old car, and made the road trip to his new duty station.  And you all know how Mom’s will worry! Fortunately, his GPS took him right by our daughter’s house so he was able to spend the night with her and then continue on his journey.  It just feels wonderful to know he is not on the road today.

This card was made using the Operation Write Home sketch for this week and a Doodle Pantry pre-colored digital stamp set.  I just adore panda bears, so this was too cute to resist!

I decided to just stick with greens and whites for this card to give it a really “fresh” look.  I used Doodle Pantry digital paper (the bamboo print) and some scraps that I embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The dark green paper is Recollections shimmer paper that I am running out of and can’t find again.  The base layers are punched along the bottom with a MS border punch, as is the image tag.  The image tag also has rounded corners using a corner rounder. The sentiment is on a Spellbinders tag that was inked while still in the die and then edged with Liquid Pearls. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Now for the challenges:
