INKSPIRATIONAL DT CALL

Hi all my crafty friends! Well, I have several posts so I’ll probably spread them over the next couple of days.  They are for a new challenge blog called Inkspirational and Mynnette is holding a Design Team call to get it started. How exciting is that?  Each month there will be four challenges: CASE, Color, Photo, and Sketch and it starts in January 2013.  So here is my first submission!

This first challenge is a CASE challenge.  I used a tan cardstock, stamped it with Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Solid Leaf Vine Border and used a Martha Stewart border punch along the bottom.   I then made little flowers by punching 5 circles with a ticket punch and attaching 4 of them to the 5th one.  The tan panel was embossed with a Darice embossing folder once the flowers were attached and pearls were added to the flower centers.

A brown panel was also punched with the MS border punch and layered under the tan one.  The sentiment was made by masking a SB Labels Eighteen and inking with Memento ink.  I then stamped the border from Inspired by Stamping and added the sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

Here is the card I was CASEing:

I kept a lot of the elements but switched the location of the flowers and sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please leave comments so I know you were here!
