Happy Saturday, even if it is rainy, foggy and generally depressing (ugh). I have not had enough crafting time so far this year, but I plan to remedy that today. I thought it was going to be gawgeous and it is still supposed to get warm, but for now I think I’ll be staying inside for a while.
I did get a chance to make a card for Mojo Monday and here it is:
This is another masculine birthday card that is going to a deployed soldier. I embossed the base panel and then used Ranger Distress Inks to distress/age it. It started out a very pale yellow (almost the color in the top right. I also stamped and embossed a panel with the Inkadinkado numbers stamp and then distressed it with DI too. I cut that apart to make the top left panel, the square and the sentiment, which is stamped with Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Happy Birthday to You. Some scrap DSP was used for the other two panels. Tiny black brads went on the ends of the strip and the corners and a piece of RRR behind a button finish this one.
Thanks for stopping by to see my card. I hope you have a beautiful day!
