Today’s post has a special Thank You to my friend Cely. You told me I would love a Silhouette and I DO! I am still getting used to it, but this card was made mostly using it.
Hi sweet friends! Welcome to some End of the Week Encouragement for challenge #23 at Inkspirational. We are seeing some beautiful creations, so jump right in and get yours linked up! You have until Tuesday at 6pm CST to show us your creativity!
(Sentiment and butterfly made with Cameo Silhouette; Spellbinders die; Really Reasonable Ribbon)
This was a very simple card. I used the Silhouette to cut the sentiment and used a strip of red paper behind it. Used the same red paper for the butterfly.

Very classy, Ellen! It might have been a simple card to make, but your card has everything but a simple look! I really like the effect of the cut out sentiment with the red paper behind as well as the lovely butterfly! Real nice layout and a beautiful card!
I love this card Ellen. The sentiment looks great with the colour behind it. I haven't looked into the cameo before and am not sure how it works so may be asking more!
GORGEOUS use of the colors, Ellen! LOVE that amazing ribbon-and the butterfly is to die for! HUGS to you and hope you are doing well! :)
Wonderful card, love the butterfly and the die cut framing the delightful sentiment!

Hi Ellen, although I'm pleased you love your Silhouettte Cameo, your post is breaking my heart....I got one for my birthday 4 weeks ago and I am returning it as it is faulty.
Your card shows what beautiful projects can be made with the Silhouette in your creative hands. Great use of the colours - I especially like the yellow on the ribbon.
