Hello crafty friends. Welcome back to In a World of Craft! I have a quick post to show you my Less is More card for this week:
(A2: Stamps: Art Impressions (Window Box); Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Thank You Floral Crochet Set (retired), Cherry Blossoms Set, Wisteria Frame Set and Happy Birthday to You Peg Stamp - Mini); Paper Smooches (Salutations); Designs by Ryn (Water Droplets); Hero Arts (Flower set); Copics; Crystal Effects)
First, I want to thank Chrissie for the Window Box stamp! I love it so much and wanted to use it this week, so I decided I could have my flowers singing in the rain….hopefully that works for the challenge!
This card is “stamp heavy” but they are all so tiny and delicate, just perfect for the window box. All of the foliage and flowers are peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The three larger flowers are from Hero Arts (I think). I colored the window box and yellow flowers with Copics and added some spots of Crystal Effects as rain. Once the card was done, I thought it needed some more prominent raindrops, so I stamped Ryn’s Water Droplets and fussy cut three of them. Then I coated them with Crystal Effects and once dry added to the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
Here is a link to the challenge so you can join in the fun!
Week 181 Theme: Singin' in the rain! You can take any aspect from the title as the starting point for your creation. Rain, weather, music, dancing... let your imagination take flight.
Happy Crafting!!!
