I love the look of water color, but have been to afraid to try it. I decided to try it using these gorgeous tulips and I love it! I used water color paper and distress ink pads to create the background. You all know that technique: swipe the ink pad on the craft mat, spritz and pounce the paper around in the mess ink. I then stamped the image using Stazon so it would not interact with my water based markers. I scribbled marker on the craft mat, spritzed and used a water pen to paint the flowers. Last, I added the sentiment, again with Stazon, and mounted on a coordinating piece of card stock. What do you think?
